At Ancestry, RSU + Stock Options are subject to a 3-year vesting schedule: 33% vests at the end of the 1st year (cliff), then 33% in each of the 2nd and 3rd years (8.25% every 3 months). Alternatively, Ancestry also has the following 5-year vesting schedule: 20% vests at the end of the 1st year (cliff), then 20% in each of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th years (5% every 3 months).
